"To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me." - Acts 26:18

I Will Arise
This sermon jam focuses on the story of the prodigal son. Every time we want our own way we are rebelling against our Heavenly Father. Repentance is our only hope. God loves us and allows us to go through difficult times so we will turn to Him. Our lives become terrible when we are separated from the Giver of all life! There must be a change of mind. We may have resolutions, but we must act on them. The prodigal son made a resolution, “I will arise!” God gives freedom, righteousness, peace, and joy! All is possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The true penitent must forsake sin because it brings sorrow to his own soul and grieves God. We must respond to the call of God and do something about it! In the story the prodigal son finds everything back home he desired in the faraway country. But we must desire to repent and respond to the call of God. This is how the dead are given new life. This is how the lost are found.
